New England Crane School Announces October 2026 NCCCO and NCCER Operator Certification Classes
in Partnership with Shawmut Equipment
New England Crane School is now accepting registration requests for its October 2026 crane operator certification training classes, offering operators the opportunity to prepare for nationally accredited NCCCO or NCCER certification exams.
The week-long programs are designed to help both experienced and newer operators strengthen their understanding of crane safety, operator responsibilities, and the material required for written certification exams. Classes will be led by an instructor who specializes in adult learning and crane-related training.
The NCCCO Operator Certification Class will be held October 5–9, 2026 and is intended for experienced operators. The class will focus on preparation for the NCCCO mobile crane written exam in TLL, TSS, or lattice categories. Practical exam categories offered include TSS hydraulic fixed cab and TLL hydraulic swing cab.
The NCCER Operator Certification Class will be held October 19–23, 2026 and is designed for newer operators. This five-day entry-level training program will include preparation for the NCCER mobile crane written exam, practical training, and coverage of four different crane categories.
The cost is $2,500 per operator for one category.
New England Crane School is offering the classes in partnership with Shawmut Equipment, a long-standing crane and heavy equipment dealer serving customers throughout New England and Atlantic Canada.
