Tim Scott recently passed the GMK All Terrain Crane Service Certification Test at the Shady Grove, PA facility. Tim passed the test with a perfect score. The certification test lasts two days, including both written and practical hands-on testing using cranes and simulators.

•    The Burnside, Nova Scotia-based company is the first in Canada to take delivery of the 115 USt Grove TMS9000-2 truck crane, which boasts industry-leading load charts on a carrier that’s lighter than competing truck crane models.
Manitowoc Cranes is pleased to introduce the NEW Grove GRT655 and GRT655L, 55 U.S. ton rough terrain cranes. These two models were designed with customer-focused features, reliability and performance that provides quick return on investment. Both machines have exceptional load charts against other cranes in the 50-ton class. The Grove GRT655 is equipped with a 35 ft.
Cianbro is replacing two transmission towers on the James River near Charles City, Virginia, using a barge-mounted MLC650 equipped with VPC-MAX. Variable Position Counterweight (VPC) technology is enabling the MLC650 to maintain its center of gravity and adjust its counterweight during each lift, which helps keep the crane stable on the barge. Before the MLC650 with VPC-MAX was released, Cianbro would have needed to build a trestle and use a much larger crane.
Cianbro Corporation’s Power & Energy Division is utilizing the versatile Grove GHC55 hydraulic crawler crane on their most recent transmission project, 345kV Energized Changeouts. The 55 US ton tele-boom crawler crane has been put to work replacing eighty 345kV structures throughout the state of Maine over a five-month period.
Manitowoc Cranes recently announced the NEW Grove GMK4090 all-terrain crane. The 100 USt (90 t) capacity crane was designed with customer-focused features, reliability, and performance that provides quick return on your investment. The GMK4090 is the strongest taxi crane in its class.
