What's New at Shawmut Equipment

Shawmut Equipment would like to thank Double R Crane Service out of Poland, ME for the recent purchase of a new National NBT45127-1 45 ton boom truck. In 2004, Marc & Susan Lajoie started Double R Crane Service with one 23.5 ton boom truck. Today, Double R Crane Service manages a fleet of four cranes ranging from 30-70 Tons.

The new 450 USt capacity GMK6400-1 is the landmark crane that launched virtually at CONEXPO 2020. Andreas Cremer, vice president of product management for all-terrain cranes at Manitowoc, said CONEXPO provides an opportunity to showcase new technology and industry-leading reliability.

Manitowoc unveils the new National Crane NBT40-2 series boom trucks at CONEXPO 2020! The new NBT40-2 series is proudly American-made and manufactured at the company's factory in Shady Grove, Pennsylvania. The NBT40-2 142 ft five-section boom is the longest in its size range. The long boom allows the operator to perform more lifts without the use of a jib, reducing setup time and improving efficiency, making it ideal for work in residential or commercial construction industries!

•    The MLC150-1 has new features that make it easier to transport to the job site and quicker to assemble than its crawler-crane predecessors. •    The new model features an upgraded cab for increased operator comfort.

Manitowoc Cranes has unveiled its latest rough-terrain crane: the Grove GRT8120. It is the latest in the GRT line of rough-terrain cranes that have grown in popularity due to their reliability and versatility on job sites. It will be on display at CONEXPO 2020 in March, and it’s one of six brand-new cranes that the company is introducing at the show, along with several others making their North American debuts.

The Hup M 28-22 is the first model in the revolutionary Potain Hup range to champion mobility, providing the best job site access capabilities in its class. The new self-erecting crane features a permanent ballast, a double-steering axle and a transport length of just 11.6 m.

Manitowoc Cranes will return to CONEXPO in 2020 to unveil six new cranes to the lifting market. In addition to these, four other crane models that were introduced in 2018 and 2019 will also be on display at the company’s booth, with several making their North American debuts.
